In the summer, I play a lot of family festivals and library reading club concerts. I also play at many day camps and school summer programs, and one of the perennially-popular themes is "Pirate Day." So in addition to the old sea chanteys I've written, like "Oh, Janey O!" and the the Great Lakes sailing songs like "Superior, Superior, King of All the Lakes," I never really had a pirate song about pirate songs, until now!
