Recorded 11-5-16 by Kevin Devine and the Lo-fi Hi-way Band of Glen Leven. Instruments include an Art & Lutherie guitar; a Squier Bronco bass; a Castelfidardo accordion; a double-row Rhythm Band tambourine; and an 8-inch rough cut saw blade for a Sears Craftsman circular saw. The Lo-fi Hi-way sound is a tribute to the International Sliver String Submarine Band. A great thing about performing concerts for children and families "con frequencia" is that I get a lot of feedback on new tunes right away. Recently I sang this song at a school, and when I was done with it, a girl asked, "OK, so now can you actually sing the song about a pickle?" She got me there -- this is just the song about the song. Now I have to actually come up with the song that this song is about! I'm working on it!
